About Me

Formal Education & Training

I started my career in Early Childhood Education with a BS and MS in Family and Consumer Studies/Child Development at the University of Idaho. Our team was passionate about creating quality early childhood settings for children ages 3-8 years.

I became a school counselor and returned to Oregon State University for a MS in Counseling. For many years, I counseled elementary children in the public school system in Florence, Oregon and in Salem-Keizer. In the process completed 3-years of therapy supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (license #C2019).

I am currently working towards a play therapy credential with the Association for Registered Play Therapists.

It has always been my heart to open a private practice and continue to serve and teach others about the healing power of play!
